Our client, Intelligrated is a leader in the material handling solution industry. They design, manufacture, install & maintain picking, sorting & robotic technology for product distribution across the USA and globally.
Intelligrated was attending a Pack Expo Convention in Las Vegas and they wanted to take their booth to the next level…actually they wanted a WOW factor that people had never seen before! The Intelligrated Marketing Team wanted to take four robotic arms (that would typically be used to place & stack product on a wooden pallet for bulk shipping) and attach four 50″ monitors to each arm. Then they wanted to video content to be synchronized to each other, while the robotic arms where moving in the X, Y & Z axis space. Easy–peasy, right!
KPG’s team got started, while our illustrator was storyboarding the visuals and movements of the four screens, our producer was working on the message and story, our technical director was working with the Intelligrated engineers on how to synchronize the robotics and video playback and finally our animators determining the best work flow.
The outcome was nothing short of amazing. Within 90 days KPG had brought the crazy idea to life. Intelligrated’s booth had become the WOW factor they wanted.
